I’m Dave... Creative Matador is my alias. This isn’t a personal blog about my daily ventures. This is a virtual space for me to visually communicate a culmination of my views and those around me. I’m no expert. I’m no knighted designer. I’m just a simple guy in love with art and I’ve got a lot to say.
Childhood days of mimicking my brother’s sketches have matured into doodles of political rants. My dream of becoming a professional cartoonist or graphic designer has long faded... the title ‘Starving Artist’ just doesn’t have that ring to it... or would it make the bills.

Awesome piece Dave! You always do have a way with transforming significant social issues into images that really resonate. This is one issue that I’m a firm believer in. I really like how you can really feel a sense of detachment from the fast food giants too. Next time I crave a big juicy burger, I’ll drive straight home and make a paleo version myself! Fantastic piece!

How you do it time and time again, I have no idea. I love being a part of your thought process – it’s always very inspirational, and educational at the same time. I’m very impressed with each and every single one of your creation. They all have such good meaning and good lesson behind it. I love this one very much since it serves as a wake-up call to all of us to take better care of our body by eating pure, clean and healthy natural foods. From now on, every time I feel like eating Junk foods, I’ll think of this piece. Thank you for your creativity.
